International Relations is one of the mostly preferred fields and this is closely linked to opportunities and issues of the globalizing world we live in. In spite of that diplomacy is the most ideal work area for the alumni, substantial part of the graduates have opportunities to access important positions both in public and private sectors. In addition to international political and commercial institutions, global connections of almost all companies and institutions have been increasing the demand for graduates of International Relations.
Our department, started to teach in 1997, produced the first graduates in 2001. In addition to the undergraduate studies, our Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes also keep successfully teach with rich and qualified staff. Moreover, our department feels responsible for a duty in each social education and enlightenment like hosting national and international scientific meetings, holding workshops and programmes in special subjects. Members of our department also represent our university in national and international academic meetings in Turkey or abroad.
